Emergency Leak Repair in Indianapolis
Active leaks traced and stopped fast — same-day emergency response across Indianapolis and the surrounding counties.
A roof leak never announces itself at a convenient time. It shows up during a March thunderstorm or a January thaw, and every hour it runs, water is soaking insulation, swelling drywall, and feeding mold in places you cannot see. Our leak crews answer during business hours seven days a week and prioritize active-water calls first.
Stopping the water comes first. For active leaks we tarp or seal the entry point the same day, then schedule the permanent repair once the roof is dry and safe to work. Tarping is a stopgap done right — anchored into framing, not just weighted down — so it holds through follow-up storms.
Then we find out why it leaked. Ceiling stains are often ten or fifteen feet away from the actual entry point because water rides rafters and decking downhill. We trace the path from the attic, confirm it on the roof, and repair the true source: failed flashing, a cracked boot, an ice-dam back-up at the eave, or a valley that has been shedding water under the shingles.

Emergency Leak Repair — FAQ
What should I do while I wait for a roofer?
Contain the water: bucket under the drip, plastic over furniture, and poke a small hole in a bulging ceiling bubble so it drains in one place instead of spreading. Do not climb on a wet roof. If water is near light fixtures or outlets, cut power to that circuit.
Why does my roof only leak during heavy rain?
Volume and wind. Slow rain sheds straight down the shingles; driving rain pushes water uphill under laps and sideways into flashing gaps. A leak that only appears in hard storms is usually flashing, a valley, or wind-driven entry at a vent — all findable with a proper attic inspection.
